Great base for discovering Whitby. The very amiable staff working throughout the hotel. Only 15 minutes on foot from Whitby railway station.

The staff members were all affable and helpful. The bed was very comfy and the room was exceptionally clean and compact. We had street view. Its location not too far from Saint Mary's Cathedral was particularly good and ideal.

All in all everything in the hotel was good. My family room with balcony was compact. Having a hair dryer, a walk-in shower, and bath sheets was a bonus. The location was great and nice and the staff were attentive. I had coffee at Cafe Modern Two, located within 5 minutes walk. I liked 2 nights there.

Absolutely fabulous and amazing hotel - brilliant place for a short stay. The stuff - very welcoming and friendly. Perfectly clean unit with a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a fridge. Lovely design, exceptionally comfortable beds.

Our room was spotlessly clean with a clean bathroom. The location was good, so close to the harbour, shops and pubs, and restaurants and the beach. Café Elizabeth Botham & Sons located 1 km away was a nice surprise.
